The 16th Singapore General Elections happened in May 2025 and rallies all over the island nation were held in preparation for it. Amid the noise of politics, I wanted to ask something more personal — are Singaporeans happy? What brings them joy, and what are their hopes and dreams?
I captured these fleeting moments and invited people to write their answers on their portraits, turning the intangible feeling of happiness into something you can hold.
